Bjork is an extremely creative, unique singer-songwriter from Iceland. Originally the lead singer of the pop-punk band Sugarcubes, she has been a solo artist since 1993. She has worked with musicians as varied as hip hop artist Tricky, acclaimed harpist Zeena Perkins, and produced strange and wonderful videos with award winning directors such as Michel Gondry and Spike Jonze. She won the Best Actress award in Lars von Trier's Palme D'Or winning tragedy "Dancer In The Dark", sang with Radiohead's Thom Yorke on the "Dancer In The Dark" soundtrack which Bjork sang and wrote, and acted and wrote the soundtrack for the recent experimental film "Drawing Restraint 9".
